If you are not interested in using any of Fade In Access's cloud file storage, etc., with Fade In for the desktop, you can disable it in order to save/load documents only from your computer.

You can enable or disable Fade In Access integration under Preferences > User Interface.

Note that disabling Fade In Access also disables its versioning and backup capabilities. (Fade In itself will still maintain autosave backups as you work, if the option to do so is selected.)
