Fade In Mobile Privacy Policy

Scope of this policy

This privacy policy covers the use of personal information by the mobile apps Fade In Mobile and Fade In Mobile Free. It describes how, as a user, your information may be used.

What information is collected and why?

The personal information requested by the apps consists solely of your various optional cloud service login credentials. This is normally done only once, and is necessary if you wish to authorize the app to connect to your various support cloud services for online syncing/storage of documents.

Please note that the your information is entered directly into a secure webpage hosted by the cloud service itself; the app only displays it, and is unaware of any information entered. Upon successfully logging into the secure cloud service webpage, a unique access token is returned that the app can subsequently use to connect to the service.

How is my information used?

Your information is used only for initially obtaining an access token to connect to your cloud service accounts for document syncing. The access token is unique to and may only be used by the app. This only needs to be done once, as long as that access token is present and valid. At no time is your information shared with any other app, service, third-party, etc.

Is my information stored?

Your cloud service login credentials are never known to or stored by the app.

Document storage and transmission

Your documents are only ever stored by the app on your device or your cloud service account. Your documents are transmitted to and from your device via server connection solely for the purpose of storing to/retrieving from your cloud service account.
