If page numbers have disappeared from your document or are otherwise not showing up, check to make sure that there is a page number placeholder ("#" or "{Page}") in the header* of your document under Document > Header and Footer. (See: How to create a header or footer)
* Normally page numbers will go in the header of a screenplay, but other types of documents may put them in the footer.
